Na terça-feira quando estava às compras precisei de ajuda e perguntei pelo que precisava a uma das empregadas. Quando já estava a sair, sorri-lhe e ela ofereceu-me este ramo de tulipas! Que gesto bonito!
Fiquei maravilhada!
O vaso é uma das pechinchas que já foram compradas numa loja em segunda mão para dar um ar de lar à casa. Parece-me ser comum existir este tipo de lojas por aqui e vê-se todo o tipo de pessoas a fazerem as suas compras lá, sem que pareçam ter vergonha de estar a comprar mais barato. Acho maravilhoso a existência destas lojas. Faz com que quem precise tenha um sítio onde onde facilmente terá acesso a roupa, móveis, livros, louças, brinquedos e aparelhos electrónicos e de ginástica; e que quem escolhe comprar mais barato, porque sabe que não precisa de gastar muito para ter bom ou bonito, também tem um lugar para si ali.
While I was shopping on tuesday, in a supermarket, I needed help and I asked for it to one of the ladies that work there. When I was living, I smiled at her and she offered me this tulips bouquet! How nice is that?
I was delighted!
The vase is one of the bargains found in a second hand shop to turn this house into a home. Those kind of shops seem common around here and you can see different kinds of people shopping there, aparentely without "shame" for being buying cheaper stuff. I find the existence of this stores wonderful. It makes possible for someone in need to have easy access to clothes, furniture, books, tableware, toys, electronic appliances and a bunch of other stuff; and the ones who choose to buy cheaper, because they know they don't need to spend too much to have something good or pretty, can find a place there, too.
